Thursday, July 22, 2010. I haven't posted in a while, so here's a catch up of my summer so far. We can still have campfires! The means it rains and cancels some fun activities during the day, but a nice campfire at night is always worth it. Although that's debatable when it's still 90 degrees at 10 pm, but whatever. These kids were doing smores after worship and I tried many different exposures until I got this one. But seriously, my new point and shoot has double the mega pixels of my silly Canon Rebel.

Tuesday, April 10, 2012. The word is out.Chris and I are engaged! By The Band Perry, and I'm stumped. I make a few lame guesses, but none of them are satisfactory. (Side note - the first time I played this song for Chris, I ooooo-ed and awwwww-ed over how cute it was, while he rolled his eyes). Actually, I said "yes of course." Monday, July 16, 2012. Rachel came to Houston, so what did we do? Drive to San Antonio! We had good reason though, Megan and Milo were there! Oh the way to San Antonio, you HAVE to stop at Buc-ee's. Friday, January 28, 2011. Marie, my clinic roomie, and I were both super excited to wake up because we thought we could check out of this hotel.or clinic. But sadly, they said we would have to stay at least until lunch. We also thought they said we had to finish the bottle of fluids that was draining into our arms, so the race began! Thursday, July 5, 2012. One of those things is of course Pinterest. You can't possibly keep up with Pinterest and plan a wedding while camp is going on, so now it's time to PLAN. Rach comes today, mom comes on Sunday, and we'll see Megan twice in there too! Let the real planning begin. Monday, April 2, 2012. Many of you know I like to grow things, so I thought I would make a blog post all about my gardening. It's so easy in Texas! This is a tree I planed back in November of 2010. It's growing strong! No garden posts here, but I just had to make someone angry. Now that she's rolling her eyes and probably saying some choice words to her computer screen, I will continue. Tonight it felt like I was doing a science fair project all over again.ah, home sweet home :). And here are the eggs!

Monday, November 8, 2010. I recently went to New Jersey to hang out with awesome Lutheran camp people. I was at their "school" and I got to be a "teacher." We're not technically allowed to call it a school, but that's basically what it is. It's technically called a "Leadership Training Event." Silly 501(c)3 laws.
