Ian and Louise go to India! Saturday, October 07, 2006. Agra and the Taj Mahal. After a two hour train journey we arrived in Agra, home of the Taj Mahal. As soon as we got to the train station we were bombarded by the touts. We think this place is better named "Agro Agra" since you can't walk more than 5 steps without being hassled by either a rickshaw driver or begger, or come to mention it a cow, monkey, goat, or even donkey! This place really is mad, the number of animals there are! Taj Mahal at 6am!

Ian and Louise go to India! Thursday, October 05, 2006. We're finally here - only a day late! Well we finally made it here, despite missing our first connecting flight due to flight delays and getting stuck for a night in Germany! Lufthansa blamed the weather for the delays, despite the fact that it was sunny but nevermind! All in all it's been fantastic! Actually it's not that bad, despite the 40 degree heat, and it actually doesn't smell as bad as we thought.well not everywhere anyway! Back to main page.

Nothing more to write on this except that after leaving Vegas the first time round we felt decidedly withdrawn and the lack of alcohol and gambling left us shaky and nervous! A visit to Gamblers Anonymous advised us to return for more of the same! We therefore gave in to temptation and returned for another two weeks of heavy gambling and partying!
