iCook: November 2008

http://icooktexas.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html

Saturday, November 29, 2008. Deals, Deals, Deals. Aren't we all looking for some great deals? Especially now that we have our list of who to buy for, and what they want. I wanted to share a few sites that I go to to find great deals. This site has coupon codes for online shopping. I always go to this site for I checkout. Just put in the site you are at (childrensplace.com, for example) and it will pop up with different coupon codes to use at checkout. It's awesome! What do you think? Links to this post.

iCook: June 2009

http://icooktexas.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html

Friday, June 26, 2009. Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. 1 1/2 cups heavy cream. 1/4 cup lemon juice (about 1 lemon). 6 Tbsp. unsalted butter. 1 to 2 tsp. grated lemon zest (from about 1 lemon). 9 ounces fresh fettuccine (I used a bag of dried fresh fettuccine, it made a difference). 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese. In the same pan, I added 1 cup of cream, lemon juice and butter-stirring occasionally until the butter melts. Add lemon zest and nutmeg. Sorry for not many pictures! What do you think?

iCook: Easy BBQ Chicken

http://icooktexas.blogspot.com/2009/08/easy-bbq-chicken.html

Thursday, August 6, 2009. I love this recipe for so many reasons:. It's in the crockpot, which makes things easier on me. It uses chicken quarters or chicken thighs, which are cheaper. I have also started buying whole chickens and roasting them, then shredding them to pieces for at least 2 different meals. I didn't find this recipe anywhere, but I'm sure someone else has done it before. Chicken, barbeque sauce and a crockpot. That's all you need! I let it cool for a few minutes before I started shredding.

iCook: April 2009

http://icooktexas.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html

Monday, April 13, 2009. I never really knew how much I liked Deviled Eggs, until I had GG's. My stepmom- who my kids call GG- makes fabulous. Deviled eggs. I requested them for our Easter get together, and. Told her that I was going to take pictures of her doing it and post it. I have never attempted deviled eggs before- OK, that's a lie. I did one time, and they were almost unedible. So I needed to watch her do it- I'm a visual learner. Boiled eggs, yolks removed and cut in half. Fill in egg halves.

Just thought it was cute-the only thing I can see is his little head:). We have ...

http://kerbels.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Monday, January 18, 2010. We went to Florida for my cousin's wedding, and were able to take the kids to Disney! We only went for one day to Magic Kingdom, but we made it through most of the park. It was such an awesome day, I can't believe my kids are old enough to BOTH love going! They are so much fun now-a-days! The day started out cold, so we all had 2 layers on. Kindle's skirt counted as 3. Heading out for a fun day! So sweet, she wanted to wear her skirt and 'beautiful' Mickey ears! Carson loves to ...
