The Oak Tree: Meet Lil' Acorn
http://lessonsoftheoaktree.blogspot.com/2009/03/meet-lil-acorn.html
Through the winds of unpredictability comes a strength we never knew. Posted by Lil' Acorn. When Mama Mia told me she was inviting me to be part of The Oak Tree, I was really excited - except for when I found out I'd have to write something about myself. but here it goes. . I selected the pseudo name "Lil' Acorn" because that is the first thing that I thought of when I read the poem - we are all acorns - we all have within us the ability to become a mighty oak. . The things I value most in my life are m...

The Oak Tree: Disasters Happen
http://lessonsoftheoaktree.blogspot.com/2010/04/disasters-happen.html
Through the winds of unpredictability comes a strength we never knew. We have a morning routine at my house. Get up. Change Logan's diaper. Get him into the tub or into the shower with Daddy. Breakfast. I start my chores while Logan watches a bit of morning TV. But, as they say, all good things must come to an end. The culprit? I guess we could blame it on wrist development. Logan can now open the door. I can hear him outside the door begging to come in then just the sounds of the television. Busines...

The Oak Tree: Not Forgotten
http://lessonsoftheoaktree.blogspot.com/2010/04/not-forgotten.html
Through the winds of unpredictability comes a strength we never knew. It's been awhile since I've looked at this beautiful blog. I re-read some of the remarkable experiences that have been shared and realize the value of a blog like this. Then I returned to another blog that is well viewed and read her newest post and thought, "Man, has she got an ego! Actually, blogs really are one ego trip after another. Well, some anyway. It might be time to start blogging again. Monday, April 5, 2010. If You Care to ...

The Oak Tree: The Best Day
http://lessonsoftheoaktree.blogspot.com/2009/08/best-day.html
Through the winds of unpredictability comes a strength we never knew. Posted by Mamma Mia. I have been feeling quite emotional for the last several days. Weirdest thing. These powerful surges of emotions have been occurring for several days every month, for the last while. ha ha ha. Wonder what it could be? At any rate - this morning as I was working out with my ipod, the Taylor Swift song "The Best Day" came on. I immediately pictured myself as the mother in this song. Here is where my daydreamin'.

The Raymond Family: March 2009
http://raymondfanclub.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 30, 2009. Salt Lake City Adventure. On Saturday I had the wonderful opportunity to spend a "girl's day out" with Hollie, my mom, my sisters and my nieces to attend the Young Women session of conference at the Conference Center. Here we are gathered outside of Jeri's house before we left. Lorrie, mom, Alex and Hollie all ready to go. We stopped at Winger's first to fill our tummies. Here we are outside the Conference Center. We were sad that Ginger, Amy and Toni and her girls couldn't be wit...

The Oak Tree: Meet Tallulah
http://lessonsoftheoaktree.blogspot.com/2009/02/meet-tallulah.html
Through the winds of unpredictability comes a strength we never knew. Posted by Mamma Mia. I'm not in the habit of explaining myself in a paragraph or two, so bear with me. Despite this smelly vice, she is extremely fun and an incredibly caring person. You will learn much from this sage woman. Many people refer to me as the "creative" type. I would agree to this only in the fact that I love to create. I wouldn't say I was imaginative or flighty.Okay, maybe a little bit! To sum myself up I would say that ...

Monday, February 1, 2010. Mark wants a Jeep, of course, and so I am using all of the creative juices my brain can muster to come up with some ideas for how to turn a cardboard box into an off-road, totally awesome Jeep. PS You may have to turn your sound up pretty high because Mark talks really quietly (but don't forget to turn it down when the movie is over! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Does my hair look awesome? After having Spongebob Mac 'n Cheese for lunch, Tyler told me he wanted more "Spongebob Soup!
