Monday, November 17, 2008. Does anyone have a GAS OVEN? We are considering a range that has a larger electric oven and a smaller gas oven. We'd use the smaller oven more but since it's gas I wanted to get opinions since I've never had a gas oven. If you have one, please comment your thoughts! I LOVE MY GAS OVEN AND RANGE! Wednesday, October 13, 2010. Today I wrote a poem. Sometimes during the kids' nap time I can get very deep into thought. I like writing in my journal at this time. I don't normally write poetry, but today this poem just came out. Free verse, if you will. I think much clearer with a pen in hand. My true thoughts come out best on paper. If only I could write before I speak, then I would sound much more profound. Will ever my mouth speak the true words of my heart and mind? Or will they always be confined.

Extra Room in the Basement: We still don't really know what to do with this room. It also doesn't help that we don't have enough furniture. R and Q {the twins}. Closing the Door : The Mourning of No More Children. I'm over at Houston Moms Blog. Talking about the myriad of emotions that comes with closing the door to having more kiddos. It was probably one of my most transparent and honest posts to date - - and thus I was extremely nervous to put all of that out there. But people could not have been more kind with their comments and so many people related to those emotions. What a relief and a big "whew"! My child-bearing years are over.
