All $ raised will go towards Macsen's medical care, travel and lodging expenses. Boland Lanes in Enterprise on July 28th, 2012. Asking $10 donations for each person to bowl. Macsen's appointment went well today - chest X-ray was "beautiful," his breathing looks good, he's drinking milk again, his chest tube suture was removed and his O2 saturation was 90! We get to lower his dose of his 2 diuretics and when we asked when we need to come up next his cardiologist said the most beautiful words "not for 3 more years (if he continues to do well)! Discharged from the hospital!

The Adventures of Macsen the Grayt. A Chronicle of Our Experience with HLHS. I wrote this soon after we found out about Macsen's heart at 20 weeks pregnant. He said the baby has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome - or small left heart. That our little man will need lots of surgeries.
