Only you can hear my soul. A difference from a Best Friend is a Closest Friend (which is more than a best friend? So this is also a word from the everyday slang, it is a mix of two words:. 1 절 (jeol) which comes from 절친한 (jeol-chin-han) which means ‘close’. 2 친 (chin) which comes from 친구 (chin-gu) which means ‘friend’. Only you can hear my soul. 있잖아… You know! My favourite Korean grammar pattern is 잖다. It basically means “you know” or “remember that.” It comes at the end of a statement that you know the other person/people already knows, and you’re just reminding them of it.
