I Knit and Tell: August 2010
http://iknitandtell.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
I Knit and Tell. The story of my love affair with knitting. Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Zoe Wood ( article link. Writes: "'Slow fashion is not just about responding to trends,' says Adili chief executive Adam Smith. 'It is a mentality that involves thinking about provenance and buying something that won't look unfashionable after one season.'". To make clothes that somewhat re-create looks I see in catalogues and magazines. Monday, August 23, 2010. I used the Cascade 220 Heathers in Alki Beach I had left o...
I Knit and Tell: I've been cheating on my knitting needles...
http://iknitandtell.blogspot.com/2011/03/ive-been-cheating-on-my-knitting.html
I Knit and Tell. The story of my love affair with knitting. Friday, March 4, 2011. I've been cheating on my knitting needles. With my sewing machine. I just finished my very first quilt! I haven't washed it yet. I took pictures before that, so if it all went to hell in a handbasket in the washing machine I would have photographic evidence that it looked nice at one point! I enjoyed the whole process so much! I have definitely found a new crafty love. March 5, 2011 at 5:06 AM. Ooh, it is super cute!

I Knit and Tell. The story of my love affair with knitting. Sunday, February 13, 2011. Does anyone know why I can not comment on blogs that use captcha when I use Firefox as my browser? I have been trying to fix it, but as of now the only way I can comment is to use Internet Explorer (and I hate doing that because it makes my computer slow as molasses). I am getting sad that I haven't been keeping up with blogs like I like to.any ideas? I thought I would ask the bloggy people. :). View my complete profile.

I Knit and Tell. The story of my love affair with knitting. Wednesday, December 8, 2010. Finished: Delancey Cardigan/WIP: Weekend Getaway. My Delancey Cardigan has been finished for a couple of weeks now, and I had high hopes for a real photo shoot with this one. I wanted glamour shots, darn it! But with the holidays, finding time and a willing photographer was too hard and I decided the inside photos would have to do. The colors in Delancey are Beach Glass, the perfect greeny-turquoise, and Pampas Heath...

Our Life....: Holy CRAP!
http://apeekinourworld.blogspot.com/2011/06/holy-crap.html
Tuesday, June 28, 2011. I can't believe I haven't updated this since January! Holy crap I am a horrible blogger! Ok then, how about some updates. The kids are wonderful! Marcus is just about completely potty trained. Something we let him do on his own time frame, and because of that it has been amazingly easy. He is also sleeping in a big boy bed, another thing made easy but us letting him do it when he was ready. Where in the world has the time gone? My back pain is still there, and ridiculous!
The Runner Mommy: September 2011

Because you can learn a lot from running, even if you're just running after a preschooler. Monday, September 12, 2011. Trusting the Process.Still. The last pile is the largest, just so you know. Eating disorder expert Sarah Ravin, PhD. defines full recovery in this way:. This is all very good, and plausible, except for that last sentence. Better body image than her peers? But then again, now my body image is supposed to be better than that of my peers. Costin and Grabb highlight the importance of accepta...

Because you can learn a lot from running, even if you're just running after a preschooler. Friday, September 28, 2012. My Dear John Letter. Oh, sweet boy. You have no idea. Somehow, the crazy messages we put out there have reached you. At not-quite-four, they've gotten to you. Because they've gotten to you. Mommy tried, love. And I am so sorry I've failed you. Here are the things you need to know:. You are a miracle, just as you are. No weight loss required. Mommy loves you, forever. If You Just Smile.

Our Life....: October 2010

Monday, October 11, 2010. It was estimated that he had 80% blockage of his main artery. Really he was a heart attack waiting to happen at this point. He spent the weekend after surgery in the ICU but did fabulous! He was taken off the ventilator about 6 hours after he came out of surgery and by the evening of Saturday (24 hours out of surgery) he was walking the halls. Monday afternoon he was transfered to a regular floor with only 2 chest tube drains. Links to this post. Friday, October 1, 2010. The sum...

Because you can learn a lot from running, even if you're just running after a preschooler. Wednesday, September 12, 2012. If You Just Smile. Http:/ youtu.be/ r9To- 8IVY. What was it like for you, hearing the doctor tell you you had cancer? That the kind of cancer you had wasn't one that a surgery or some drugs would cure? How did you feel when you knew your prognosis was essentially five percent survival rate at one year, and zero at five years out? Did you begin to say goodbye right then? Do you miss us?
The Runner Mommy: Closing Time
http://therunnermommy.blogspot.com/2012/09/closing-time.html
Because you can learn a lot from running, even if you're just running after a preschooler. Monday, September 3, 2012. Http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? From him, I've learned the value of prudency, of constancy, of steadfastness. I left the city I thought I'd spend my life in, and followed The Man to Florida. A state I never thought I'd set foot in. So far, we're doing allright. I stood with my hero as he took his last breath. From him, I learned more about bravery and selflessness and integrity and the ...

Because you can learn a lot from running, even if you're just running after a preschooler. Thursday, October 25, 2012. A Little of This, A Little of That. It's nice to feel like doing things again. It's so rare for me to be the one sick, and even more so for me to be the friendly neighborhood cold-gifter - I've been thrown by it. The treadmill and spin bike have been perfectly hospitable places to be this week. I'll be damned. She was right. And I like running faster. Mucho, mucho gusto. My thumbs, they ...

In Pursuit of Perfection: Ombre hair
http://karaspursuitofperfection.blogspot.com/2011/01/ombre-hair.html
In Pursuit of Perfection. My shamelessly shallow beauty blog. Friday, January 21, 2011. Since then, I have made a few trips to Sally's beauty supply and read up a bit more online. Part of me just wants to put a light brown gloss over the whole thing, and part of me figures after spending quite a chunk of money to get it here, I should just continue dyeing my little gray roots that grow in. Here is where it is now. From Hair on the Brain. Posted using BlogPress from my iPad. Friday, January 21, 2011.

I'm sitting and waiting for a flight - delayed 3 hours so far, and making great progress on sock 2. Regardless, I'm afraid to post any pictures! Thursday, May 17, 2007. And this pattern, Garland Lace Socks. Okay, I got some ...

June 14, 2013. Because its not always about the hair and makeup. June 7, 2013. What a week and a half. I’m late on the weekly photo and don’t have much to say. Iknitarod
Tuesday, March 8, 2011. It's about time I finally got this site underway. Why do we need an Iknitarod webpage as well as the ravelry group site? Well, there's been a lot of interest, but not everybody is aware of, or a member of ravelry. I figured this was a great place to get links, blogs, and all kind of information in one cohesive place. Consider it dipping a toe in the water before diving into the snuggly warm internet jacuzzi that is ravelry. By the way, here's a link to the Iditarod Insider. Where ...

I Knit...
The inexplicable ramblings of a knitting junkie. Thursday, October 27, 2011. So…let me tell you a bit more about owning a yarn shop! Number One thing to know about owning a yarn shop? It doesn’t allow for much blogging time! I know, I know…a year ago I said (right here) that I was going to try share my knitting adventures with all of you more regularly. Well, I guess we can make it an annual thing that I am going to (once again) try to keep up with this blog on some kind of regular schedule. Have I menti...
