I Knit...: October 2010
http://iknitatstitchcafe.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
The inexplicable ramblings of a knitting junkie. Thursday, October 28, 2010. Let me tell you a little bit about owning a yarn shop. While one would think it would be simple, fun, relaxing, creative…please think again. Don’t get me wrong…there are moments in time that encompass all of the above. But in the end, it’s a BUSINESS! Even though I would rather be playing with yarn, shopping for yarn, or simply knitting with the yarn, there’s just so much to do to keep the doors open and the yarn on shelf!

The inexplicable ramblings of a knitting junkie. Thursday, October 27, 2011. So…let me tell you a bit more about owning a yarn shop! Number One thing to know about owning a yarn shop? It doesn’t allow for much blogging time! I know, I know…a year ago I said (right here) that I was going to try share my knitting adventures with all of you more regularly. Well, I guess we can make it an annual thing that I am going to (once again) try to keep up with this blog on some kind of regular schedule. Have I menti...

I Knit and Tell
I Knit and Tell. The story of my love affair with knitting. Friday, March 4, 2011. I've been cheating on my knitting needles. With my sewing machine. I just finished my very first quilt! I haven't washed it yet. I took pictures before that, so if it all went to hell in a handbasket in the washing machine I would have photographic evidence that it looked nice at one point! I enjoyed the whole process so much! I have definitely found a new crafty love. Sunday, February 13, 2011. Monday, January 17, 2011.
Iknitarod
Tuesday, March 8, 2011. It's about time I finally got this site underway. Why do we need an Iknitarod webpage as well as the ravelry group site? IKNITiatives: Hand-dyed.Hand-spun.Hand-made. Artisan hand-made yarns, fibers, and crafts. Hasta manana, Samana! December 5, 2016. Last month I finished my Samana. Top, which is a paid for pattern by Berroco. All that is left to do is hand-wash and block it. And wear it out. Overall, this took 3 months to the day to complete. I would have finished it sooner had it not been for a few false starts in the beginning and some frogging throughout the entire way. My next project is the Lesley. September 19, 2016.
