http://athomelaurel.blogspot.com/2010/12/catching-up-before-christmas.html
Thursday, December 23, 2010. CATCHING UP BEFORE CHRISTMAS. Somehow it has been two whole months since I posted last. Not sure how time slips away so quickly. Here at home, we have been enjoying the Christmas season in small ways. Last year at Christmas time, I started these stockings. My dear mother finished them for me yesterday. I'm really happy with how they turned out. Last year, I didn't do much in the way of homemade gifts, still being in a new baby fog. This year, it's simply bags of granola.

http://momtofivelittles.weebly.com/mom-to-five-littles/the-pig-farming-family
Mom to Five Littles. Mom to Five Littles. The Pig Farming Family. Joel, who will for the purposes of this post be called The Pig Farming Lawyer, came home from work one day and said that he was going to buy two piglets. Just two. He would grow them up to be big pigs and sell their meat. We were going to try to follow Joel Salatin's example of an agrarian lifestyle, but in a part-time way. 22 chickens, 2 sheep, a great Pyranees named Margaret, and a partridge in a pear (or pecan) tree. 4 Farmers make real...

http://hopefulleigh.blogspot.com/2011/06/my-famous-baked-mac-and-cheese.html
31 Things Before Turning 31. 32 Things Before Turning 32. Monday, June 6, 2011. My Famous Baked Mac and Cheese. The roots of this recipe go back to my first Dinner Club. It was Kibibi's turn to host. The star of the show was her baked mac and cheese. I'm sure the rest of the meal with amazing but we are all enamored by this cheesy decadence. It is that good. Now you may wonder why I'm posting a hot dish recipe when it's been in the 90s here. All I can say is thank God for air conditioning! Bake for 45 mi...

People are selling probiotics. And do we really need to spend top dollar to have them added to our foods? Beneficial bacteria) and they do some pretty important work there. They help digest food and create vitamins, they make it hard for bad bacteria to live there and stimulate the part of our immune system that is...

http://empty-jars.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. -2 Corinthians 4:7. Monday, July 22, 2013. 3 Things from Guatemala. I knew in preparing to go to Guatemala for the second time, things would be different. I was making the trip solo, in that my dear friend now called the country home and was no longer a visitor. In all the ways things would be different, I was prepared God would still have plenty to show me. 1 People need Jesus. Here's the kicker- t...

Empty Jars: The Energy of Vision
http://empty-jars.blogspot.com/2013/04/the-energy-of-vision.html
But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. -2 Corinthians 4:7. Friday, April 26, 2013. The Energy of Vision. Vision makes a huge difference in your life. I'm not talking about the, "I forsee a handsome man walking into your future" vision. I'm talking about a true, God-given vision that propels you forward every day. Seeing that vision fulfilled is what gets you out of bed everyday. It gives you purpose and energy. Our world would be so bori...
