Where the magic happens.and by magic, I mean sleeping. There are two other bedrooms and a bath that I didn't quite capture with film. Wednesday, December 31, 2008. A few buddies of mine are in a Christian rap group called, "SoulJahs of the Cross.". Tuesday, May 19, 2009. We spent an hour and a half with a mortgage broker yesterday. We spent another hour or so at Home Depot looking at tile, appliances, carpet, paint, lawn mowers, sheds.you name it. I'm pretty sure Trisha grabbed 60 different paint color sample cards). We spent the rest of the evening waiting to hear back about our bid. 10:30 this morning we found out we didn't get the house. But, alas, there'll be other ones. Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Two Sundays ago, a girl at church gave me a crayon drawing of a rainbow. That same night, in our David's Team activity, I asked all the kids to draw their favorite Bible story on the concrete in chalk. 4 different kids drew a picture of Noah's Ark and the Flood. At the time, I didn't realize that this was preparing me for my own flood of sorts. Usher in the weekend full of heavy showers. As it turns out, a lot of rainwater plus a septic tank placed too high equals impending doom.

Wednesday, March 09, 2011. I've had a turtle for quite few years now, 5, I believe. Here's why I'd suggest a turtle as your next pet. He's pretty low maintenance. If you buy the right filter and lighting, then there isn't too much you have to do to keep the habitat up right. I'd say I may clean the aquarium once every couple of months. Not too shabby in my opinion. Especially when you consider that stank that is Bucky's litter box in one weeks' time. How often does he eat? Why does he swim constantly?

Sunday, January 16, 2011. My sister Anna left for a 5 month mission adventure today. I say adventure, because I don't think the word "trip" really qualifies in what she's doing. As part of the World Race organization, her team is travelling in Cambodia, Thailand, India, and then back to Atlanta all while focusing on the growing issue of Human Trafficking.
