Happy first day of spring! More below. . . It's been really interesting to look back and see how things change from month to month, and one of these days I'l...

Homemade pizza is one of my favorite things to eat. (Click here. For my easy pizza dough recipe.) Throughout most of the year, I make what I call Feels Like Cheating Pizza Sauce. Bee & Thistle Guest House: A Bee-view of the Drive - The Red Pagoda

http://beeandthistle.blogspot.com/2013/04/a-bee-view-of-drive-red-pagoda.html

Bee and Thistle Guest House. Dulcius ex Asperis (sweeter after struggle). Tuesday, April 9, 2013. A Bee-view of the Drive - The Red Pagoda. Not that we needed any encouragement to visit this little restaurant, but the reviews that we keep seeing definitely continued to pique. As always, one of our goals is to sample a variety of dishes, so Michael ordered 3 crispy spring rolls ($5.50), along with a bowl of steaming hot Chicken Pho ($7.95), including the "fixings". Bee and Thistle Guest House. Dulcius ex Asperis (sweeter after struggle). Wednesday, June 30, 2010. I've been a bit remiss in keeping up my blog in recent weeks but, since the original purpose of the blog was to record our experience of opening a guest house, perhaps the most accurate reflection of the process is long periods where we are so absolutely swamped that we have no time to sleep or even. A thought, never mind record one! 1/2 c white sugar. 1/2 c firmly packed brown sugar. 1 tsp baking soda.

Homemaker and the Pea: Dyeing fabric with Dylon

http://homemakerandthepea.blogspot.com/2011/08/dyeing-fabric-with-dylon.html

Homemaker and the Pea. Creative Work From Home Jobs. Monday, August 15, 2011. Dyeing fabric with Dylon. I discovered Dylon fabric dye about six months ago. My favorite pair of jeans were pretty faded and I wanted to get a little more life out of them. Having never dyed anything before I wanted to be able to do it in the machine, my problem was that my machine is a front loader. I couldn't find anything in the stores for that. Rinse with cold water. 4 Rinse under cold water until water is nearly clear&#46...

Homemaker and the Pea. Creative Work From Home Jobs. Saturday, October 1, 2011. Easy crochet dishcloth pattern. I have had the itch to do some crocheting lately but I don't have the time to sit down and work on a big project. Pink Thumb: July 2011

http://anitaspinkthumb.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

Friday, July 29, 2011. We've had some icky weather the last couple of weeks. It went from 112F at one point to just soaking swampy wet rain. It's been making yard work quite unbearable. I haven't set foot in the garden except to snag a few things and run. Pear tomatoes - I read great reviews on these, but next year I'm going to go back to the grape tomatoes. The pear tomatoes just weren't impressive to me. They were less prolific and weren't very crack resistant. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Let me serve you! Monday, August 23, 2010. This is a work in progress. The recipe for the batter needs tweaking, that's for sure (maybe get rid of the oil). Suggestions are very much appreciated.
