http://smashpants.blogspot.com/2010/02/seven-quick-takes-just-like-my-big.html
Monday, February 22, 2010. Seven Quick Takes (just like my big sister! What a man, what a man, what a mighty good man! And he did lots of other sweet things too to make me feel special. One in particular was that he said he's going to train for and run a 5k before I run my marathon.which really means the most to me. 3 For the last few days I've had the privilege of filling in for my Mom's friend and doing Mom duties for her daughter. It's super fun! Of course I need lots more practice but I definitely ha...

Colorado Girls: October 2009
http://sallysbasement.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Everyday is a good day in Colorado, even days that look like this from my front window. Afterall, Suzy and I are cozy in our little place with our fire that turns on with the flip of a wall switch and the hum of someone cleaning sidewalks outsi. De Would you believe I don't even have on the heat? Last night Mike, Ash, and I finally tried the cupcakes I ordered from Groupon, an online service that offers big discounts to encourage people to try out businesses in the area.

Colorado Girls: September 2010
http://sallysbasement.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 26, 2010. So many exciting life events to recount since my last blog. All these make it hard to get down to writing, but I do want to stay in touch. Maybe I can remember best if I go from present to past:. Yesterday I had the privilege of accompanying pony club members to a corn maze. Wouldn't you know it would be the biggest in the world? Great experience for this directionally challenged Midwesterner. Vening at church and Walmart. It was a fun day all around. The Sunday before I tried...

Colorado Girls: Quick Takes from Denver
http://sallysbasement.blogspot.com/2010/06/quick-takes-from-denver.html
Sunday, June 27, 2010. Quick Takes from Denver. Quick Takes is a borrowed term I gleaned from my daughter, Amanda. My thinking is that it is better to just be in touch even if my thoughts are not all organized. Here goes:. 1 It is difficult for me to think straight because I am so excited that Manda, John, and Syd are coming to visit this week. We have so many plans for fun things- the zoo, the creek, the pool,. 4 My dear friend, Jolee, is my newest partner in this trading adventure and has taught me the...

The Journey Continues...: February 2015
http://danaellen.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 06, 2015. I hear a lot of excuses about why people don't exercise or haven't started an exercise program. The biggest thing people say is that they just don't have time. Really? We can all find ways to be busy, but when it comes to exercise, here is what I have found helpful. Take note that I am a stay-at-home-mom of two children (but I found ways to exercise even when I was working full-time). 1 Don't let your children be an excuse. 2 Invest in a good jogging stroller. And find some cla...

Laquo; Katie's Arrival. Catching up in Pictures ». May 29, 2013. I've loved Katie since the moment she was born, since the moment I knew she existed actually, but I truly began to resent her. She rarely slept and was only content when being held. I literally held that child in my arms for nearly the first five months of her life in its entirety. It was like this:. Hanging out with me at the park while her brothers played. Warming up in the car after Christmas Tree hunting. Posted at 11:00 PM.

The Journey Continues...: November 2014
http://danaellen.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 25, 2014. Five Years Ago Today. Five years ago today my life changed for the better. Five years ago today began one of the greatest adventures of my life. Five years ago, Edmund David was born and Walter and I became parents. He came earlier and in a way I never could have planned or expected (go back to the last blog post I did in 2009 to read his incredible birth story) and stole my heart. Posted by Dana Ellen Niesluchowski. Thursday, November 20, 2014. My Little Princess Turns 3!

Memories of Us: Exercise
http://memoriesofus.typepad.com/memories_of_us/exercise
January 17, 2010. 0160; What if I dont work the same way anymore? Ive been cutting my body some slack in other ways as well. Though Ive decided to put that to an end. Id like to introduce you to my new best friend. We got a treadmill. And thanks to an awesome year end sale, we got a brand new one! Slowly began disappearing and my face became increasingly puffy. I think of this as my Uncomfortably pregnant phase. See? And people, I was only 35 weeks in that picture. I still had FIVE to go! 0160; I w...
