I run my working hyperactive cocker spaniel once every day, usually in the morning and then walk him in the afternoon. He needs incredible amounts of exercise otherwise he goes wild! This weekend I had a very good but painful sports massage at my physio (I overused my tendons in my leg causing me to be off sport for a while! I’m still wary of them as they can contain huge amounts of sugar (see My Thoughts on Smoothies) so I stick to the 1-portion-of-fruit-per-smoothie rule and always make sure I have a higher ratio of vegetables to fruit. This smoothie is beautifully rich and creamy, and is packed with protein, making it the perfect post-workout fuel. 1 banana, chopped and frozen. 1 large handful baby spinach.
