Internationally Chic: Product Review: Natural Mineral Makeup
http://internationallychic.blogspot.com/2009/08/product-review-natural-mineral-makeup.html
Travel, food and family adventures. Saturday, August 1, 2009. Product Review: Natural Mineral Makeup. Anyway. (as I step off my soap box) Surprisingly enough, Bare minerals (which I've worn for quite some time) is not all natural. I thought I'd try to find something with less fillers and chemical and more natural stuff in general. I read about 2 companies that provide 100% natural and also partial, if not completely, organic ingredients: Glam- Nation and Afterglow. I didn't buy it. I moved on to Afterglo...

Travel, food and family adventures. Thursday, January 15, 2009. Spa Day Turned Home Treatment. After realizing that I have been paying $150 each visit to the spa just to deal with the rude spa bitch, I thought that there HAD to be an alternative. Always been a fan of Arbonne. Products. They all natural, yadda. 8230; and your skin looks great. I noticed online that they have an enzyme peel that you can do at home. What a brilliant thought! Https:/ arbonne.com/shop online/showitem.asp? From a young age, I ...

Travel, food and family adventures. Thursday, February 12, 2009. Great Wedding Day. and Great Hair. Amazingly enough, I got married. I think it’s amazing, anyway. I never really thought about getting married or even finding someone who understands me, for that matter. I was busy. I was too busy. I went to graduate school, opened my own (failed) business, I had things to do. Then I met Scott and everything changed. We were getting married. I finally, FINALLY found a picture online and we worked from there...
Internationally Chic: March 2009
http://internationallychic.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Travel, food and family adventures. Tuesday, March 17, 2009. Yea, spring is here… sort of. Now I understand spring fever. After months of scurrying from the car to the building, and donning grandma and mom’s furs, it has finally started to warm up a bit. My new sister-in-law explained to me that here in the Midwest when spring arrives, people are more than enthusiastic (and frequently take the day off from work in celebration). Internationally Chic: What's in there?
http://internationallychic.blogspot.com/2009/05/whats-in-there.html
Travel, food and family adventures. Sunday, May 10, 2009. I was reading an article this week (I can not remember the web site for the life of me), but it happened to list. As a resource to help you find out what exactly is in your cosmetics and if it’s hazardous. I checked out some of the stuff that I use, just see what’s in there. They have a green, yellow, red system to show you the level of hazardous chemicals in you cosmetics. 160; I buy 7. 160; I use bare minerals makeup and, sadly, i...160;...

International Beauty | What is beauty from an international perspective?
What is beauty from an international perspective? As I Bid Adieu, Remember that Beauty Does Not Lie Only in the Eye of the Beholder. December 12, 2013. Thankfully, I study at the American University in Bulgaria (AUBG). And I am fortunate enough to have had the chance to talk to people from more than 40 countries. I talked to students about the beauty standards in their own countries. If I have to summarize the results from the interviews in a couple of words, it would be something like that:. Tradition i...

Savvy Travel with Style. Park Hyatt Paris Vendôme, NYE 2012. New Years in Paris sounded like a fantastic way to kick off 2013. I’d confirmed seats in business class on the ORD-CDG segment with an AA System Wide Upgrade (SWU) that I had earned with my American Airlines Executive Platinum status in 2012. My return from Zurich had also been cleared prior to the trip, which was a great feeling. ORD-CDG, ZRH-LHR-ORD. International segments in AA business class. And our room was awesome! Paris is a fantastic w...

Just another WordPress.com weblog. How to eat Thai food -My “Local” way. March 17, 2009. But in this note, it’s mostly about eating in Thailand and because I tend to ramble, I’m covering just a few issues here first and an introduction to the famous “som tum” varieties of thailand you might want to try at the end, so if you have any questions, feel free to shoot! SHARING FOOD OR INDIVIDUAL PLATTERS? Actually, it depends…on what you eat, who you eat with, where you’re eating. If we’re eating som tum...

Not all who wander are lost -j.r.r. tolkien. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. The longest castle in the world. January 30, 2017. Yes, really, this is one castle. Up on the hill in the small Bavarian town of Burghausen, which lies on the Salzach River on the German-Austrian border. A picture of the entire castle obviously required the panorama setting on my camera. This is a view of the castle with the town below it taken from the Austrian side of the Salzach. Inside the main courtyard.
