Ich habe mich direkt hinter dem Fahrer gesetzt. Der Fahrer war ein durchgeknallter Idiot. Der hat sich eine besonders laute Hupe eingebaut. Es gab fast keinen Moment, wo er nicht gehupt hat. Rund um die Welt in hundertsiebenundsiebzig Tagen. Mittwoch, 29. September 2010. Morgens fragte ich an der Rezeption im Hotel, von welcher Station ich einen Bus nach Agra kriegen konnte. Als ich da ankam, stellte es sich heraus, dass es die falsche Station war und ich 10 km weiter fahren sollte. Ich war nicht verwundert. In der ganzen Zeit in Indien wurden mir Richtungen auf Nachfrage nur ganz selten richtig angegeben. Die Meisten haben mich immer irregeführt. Die Stadt an sich hat nichts besonderes.

Ich bin an einem Sonntag gelandet und wollte im Süden der Stadt bleiben, da hier quasi das Nachtleben konzentriert ist. Leider habe ich kein Hotel online gebucht, da ich noch sehr verwohnt vom Süden Indiens kam, wo man Hotels ganz leicht auch so finden konnte. Der Bus kam sehr früh morgens und ich ging dem Kai entlang auf der Such nach einer Bleibe. Viele Hotels in Pondicherry gehören den Ashrams. In der Stadt stand eine unglaubliche Hitze. Zur Mittagszeit ist es unmöglich draußen zu sein. Die Stadt aber ist ständig in Bewegung.
