I had my birthday party on the 17th, three days early. I booked Dine&Jam. As is customary here, sa final song nila Tim naglabas sila Dinky ng shakers, tambourines - even a pair of maracas - for the crowd to join in. We've been planning to remodel our room and so for a few months now my books have been off the shelf and in a large box almost the size of my bed. We have had a termite problem on and off, and today I discovered they had established a colony in my book collection! It wasn't until later that night that I burned my arm. Now I've tidied up a bit but it's still just a dumpsite so be warned. The trick is to keep breathing.

Lb picadillo (halve the recipe below). 2 cups ground Saltine Crackers or bread crumbs, mix in Italian seasoning. Boil the plantains whole, (do not peel) for 15 mins. in salted and peppered water.
