Creative Art Practice Blog. April 24, 2014. Here I have mixed a number of coloured paints on to cling film to leave to dry. When they are set, I peel them off to see what shape they have taken and how the paint has mixed. Such a good surprise: here the underside of the paint blob has revealed the most beautiful pattern. These results assure me why I experiment. For my final exhibition, I need to decide how to show the acrylic plastic pieces. Here I am experimenting with how the work balances on a vase.

I wanted to create a deeper, more sculpted shape with the paint so I decided to fill in a shape with the paint and left it to dry. The dried product was fantastic, so pleased with this experiment! It led to may more ideas! March 25, 2014. I saw a tutorial online on how to make a light shade from concrete and thought I would give it a go! I decanted the water in to anything I could find.

Creative Art Practice Blog. Making A New Country. January 3, 2013. February 8, 2013. These images were made with a very erosive liquid that I poured on to a piece of Styrofoam. It burnt in to the foam creating a sort of crater, it created a natural-looking surface that I was able to make look three dimensional. These prints are printed on matte paper, A1 size.
