Sunday, September 8, 2013. Bicycles at the beach. Yesterday, we went for a little daytrip to Carpinteria. It's about 14 miles / 22k from our home. We brought the dog, planning to visit a brewery. And walk along the cliffs. So no bicycles. :(. But then we found that the brewery AND cliffs are bicycle friendly! Time to get a trailer! Parked at the bike rack by the Island Brewing Company tasting room- Powered by Coffee and Chocolate (and beer). Some people taking in the view after riding on a sandy path.

August 27, 2016. Justin, Porter, and I traveled up the coast to Carpinteria and Santa Barbara for the day to go to a few new breweries and explore. There had been a couple of places that we wanted to go to so we decided to make a day out of it. Of course we started at our favorite burger shack, The Spot. We picked up a burger and chili cheese fries to share and walked them across the street to Island Brewing Co. We went to Figueroa Mountain. S Santa Barbara taproom. Then we visited Telegraph Brewing Co.
