Thursday, April 25, 2013. So I did post these on FB already, but I like to keep the blog up to date as much as possible. I was sort of inspired by a new cake book. My Mother In Law got for me. I saw the Compost Cake in it and that sent my brain into motion to come up with more ideas! Plus, I do appreciate Earth Day and I encourage the kids to keep the Earth in mind by recycling and reducing! And while I was creating away in the kitchen I turned on a Captain Planet marathon for the kids, it was perfect!

Friday, March 28, 2014. Rollin' on the Ri-ink! Aubrey was on a roll! We kept up the Spring Break fun by hitting the roller rink with our friends, Aubrey and Lauren! Tuesday, August 27, 2013. A Small Remodel Update. Here is the hole for the window. We added some better duct work and they had to expand the wall a bit. Fire place is in and looking good. We finally have a deck so we can use the sliding door again. We added just a small piece to use the door and connect to the rest of the stuff. Drywall is my friend! You can also see wood flooring has been added! The window has been put in. It looks like a real room now! First Day of Kindergarten! Hanging up her backpack.

Friday, February 22, 2013. Sophia was an artist in the park! I was her subject and here's my portrait! The new free exhibit at Crown Center right now is called Funville. It's a pretty cute community set up with lots of different jobs, including circus workers and the President! Both my kids fit pretty well into the oval office if I do say so myself!
