April 1st, 2009. Taro Ice Cream Recipe. Yields about 2 1/2 - 3 Cup Ice Cream. Yields about 290 g Taro Paste. 226 g Taro Root, Cubed 1. 2 1/2 Cup Water (Give or take some taro may require more or less). 1/3 cup sugar * EDIT. Add 1/4 Cup more Sugar. If you are using the paste as filling for steamed buns or cake). From what my b/f had learned from CIA, he said that when things are frozen, there are less flavor so you need to add more flavor to frozen food. All the Taro Paste. 1/4 Cup Non Dairy Creamer.

Mix until combined, and then pour into desired container. 3/4 cup of sea salt. 1/2 of jojoba oil. 4 drops (or to preference) of rosemary oil. 1 teaspoon Vitamin E. 1/4 cup almond oil. 20 to 24 slices brown bread. Tomato Butter, softened. Lettuce leaves, dressed in a rich, French dressing. 2 cups flaked, cooked salmon. 1 TB Worcestershire Sauce. 3 to 4 dashes Tabasco. Squeeze of lemon juice. A little heavy cream to bind. Mix all the filling ingredients to a spreadable paste in a food processor, blender, or with a fork. Spreads Tomato Butter on 10 to 12 slices of bread. Lay lettuce on each buttered slice, then the filling, then the top piece of bread. 4 sticks sweet butter, softened.

Feb 8th, 2009 @ 01:16 pm. 8 ounces Blanched white almonds, toasted. 4 fluid ounces oz walnut oil. 2 fluid ounces oz thick honey. In a blender, mix pulse the almonds with the walnut oil and salt. When smooth, spoon in honey and blend for 30 seconds. Keep in an airtight container. Use to spread on breads.

Clear glass container with tight-fitting lid. 1 pound organic unsalted butter. Let the butter simmer for up to one hour. Keep an eye on it and keep the flame on your stove as low as possible. The ghee is done when you see browned butterfat caramelized on the bottom of the pan and the top portion of the ghee is clear.

Nov 3rd, 2008 @ 05:47 pm. Kofta with Apricot Sauce. Soak 1 cup dried apricots in water to cover for 2 hours. Drain the apricots and place them in a food processor or blender and puree. Then, with the motor running, slowly add 3 cups of chicken stock. (Note: I found that 2 cups of chicken stock was sufficient.) Add salt and pepper to taste, transfer to a saucepan and simmer, stirring with a wooden spoon, for 5 minutes. 1 pound of ground lamb. 2 small leeks, cleaned and finely chopped. 1 tablespoon raw rice.
