I am actually sticking to the whole primal-eating thing and feeling great (well, as great as you can feel when you are in a constant state of sleep deprivation! I am having the occasional naughty thing like a chocolate bar here and there or (GASP! Happily eaten those delicious things every day of the week! Some of my yummies lately:. Trily Cottage: Looking Backwards, Looking Forward

http://ittybittyhomestead.blogspot.com/2011/01/looking-backwards-looking-forward.html

Saturday, January 1, 2011. Looking Backwards, Looking Forward. Despite never having been one to really get that excited about the whole NYE celebrations thing, I do tend to become rather reflective at this time of year, much like most people. This post is going to be more for my records than anything else, so feel free to skip it ;). The next goal I am contemplating is to do a Horticulture certificate and work on my knowledge of specific plants - this is definitely my weak area! Soon to this year. Fo...

Trily Cottage: The Urban Homestead

http://ittybittyhomestead.blogspot.com/2011/02/urban-homestead.html

Monday, February 21, 2011. Anyway, the point of today's post is just a little bit of activism, to protest the absolute ridiculousness of the Dervaes family being, well, idiots. All respect for them is now completely gone! See Sonya's blog at http:/ permaculturepathways.blogspot.com/2011/02/urban-homesteading-or-pr-101.html. How crazy is the urban homestead thing - so sad. Better trademark itty bitty homestead just in case. February 22, 2011 at 3:42 PM. Eh, Marbles are overrated anyway ;). Laugh in the Sun.

Trily Cottage: And then there were four!

http://ittybittyhomestead.blogspot.com/2012/10/and-then-there-were-four.html

Saturday, October 20, 2012. And then there were four! Once again, life has gotten in the way of blogging and this little blog has fallen by the wayside. The last few months have been hectic, with my time spent running around after Evie in between trying to relax and grow a baby. Four weeks ago, our little man joined our family. My 3 babies - Evie, Ethan and Zac. Ethan was a hefty 10lb 2oz! We are still chickenless but I hope to remedy that soon. I miss the sound of my girls clucking away! Laugh in the Sun.

Trily Cottage: Astronaut by Ben Gleeson

http://ittybittyhomestead.blogspot.com/2012/04/astronaut-by-ben-gleeson.html

Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Astronaut by Ben Gleeson. Ben is a graduate of my course and I found this piece written by him on the blog of the EAAA, here: http:/ www.ecoag.org.au/www/index.php? It is such a gorgeous piece of writing I just had to share it. He puts into words beautifully something I have often felt in my life. I ponder my umbilical; I wonder, ‘to what am I connected? 8217; Where does my ecological umbilical lead? What is at the far end? How do we bring this aesthetic and this rationalised kno...

Trily Cottage: Where oh where did the last 5 months go?

http://ittybittyhomestead.blogspot.com/2011/08/where-oh-where-did-last-5-months-go.html

Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Where oh where did the last 5 months go? Evie is just past 5 months. Where the hell did the time go? I can not believe how quickly she is growing up and changing. My little pixie is now rolling over and experimenting with solids (eating my food! And getting more adorable every day. Although his ideas definitely couldn't just be transplanted here, it certainly gave me lots of food for thought and is more encouragement to think outside the box of traditional agriculture.

Tiny Travels: living in a house on wheels

Tiny Travels: living in a house on wheels. Tuesday, August 25, 2015. For those of you that have stuck with me since the beginning, you know how this all began. But for those newbies to my blog, let me very briefly explain how this all started. And just maybe even I might learn something. And so with no place to live and way too much stuff, I did what I had to do. The only thing I could do. I got rid of shit like a man possessed. But that's a story for the next post. Peace out! Wednesday, August 19, 2015.
