Wednesday, December 22, 2010. Earlier in the season, we had our friends and neighbors over for a "Yule Log" tasting. The one we got was from an Italian grocer in Mainz and is similar to the one here. Everyone was excited to try it, but it had a very strong flavor, and the girls could only eat a little. I think Kailee had the most creative way to attack the chocolate log slice. Monday, September 13, 2010. Charlotte's First Day of Preschool. Charlotte started Preschool today. She is going five days a week for 3 hours each day. She said goodbye to me and was off to play. She has three friends/neighbors with her in the same class: Hailey, Jocelyn, and Isabella. She got to paint, have a snack, and play outside. Sunday, September 12, 2010. We love you Charlotte! Charlotte helped to decorate her cake this year. She requested Fettuccine Alfredo for dinner. We had a call from Grandma and Grandpa, and Nana watched on Skype as she opened her presents. Grandma sent a new outfit but the bottoms are still a little too big. :). Tuesday, August 4, 2015. I'm glad my girls love nature and gross things like frogs, worms and such because they truly loved being out in Pungo (minus the deer flies! They'd catch a random frog during the day, but had two specific frog hunting nights with the neighbor girls (ew! Luke and I sat out the first hunt (it was past bedtime) but I'm pretty sure they caught around 30 frogs (I think they are actually toads). Luke with a frog on his knee! I think he was playing dead in hopes of being set free!

Saturday, July 25, 2015. We hit the beach up 6-7 times during the 3 weeks we were there! The water wasn't too chilly and we all had a blast (and it gave my parents some down time at the house, ha! We were able to meet up with the Kownack girls and catch up! We all missed Bobby though!
