The MacDonalds: Frog Hunting
http://themacdonalds-alohafromhawaii.blogspot.com/2015/08/frog-hunting.html
Tuesday, August 4, 2015. I'm glad my girls love nature and gross things like frogs, worms and such because they truly loved being out in Pungo (minus the deer flies! They'd catch a random frog during the day, but had two specific frog hunting nights with the neighbor girls (ew! Luke and I sat out the first hunt (it was past bedtime) but I'm pretty sure they caught around 30 frogs (I think they are actually toads). Luke with a frog on his knee! I think he was playing dead in hopes of being set free!

Wednesday, August 26, 2015. Visit from Grandma, Grandpa, and Cousin Will. The kids and I checked out the 4th festivities on post while Leevi prepped our bbq and waited for the grandparents to arrive! We all definitely enjoyed the tubs! View from the 5th floor. The kids had TONS of pool time! There were two hou...

The MacDonalds: November 2014
http://themacdonalds-alohafromhawaii.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 19, 2014. Baby to Boy overnight! Each of these HUGE milestones probably deserve a post of their own, BUT since I'm soooooo far behind, they'll get squeezed into one! There was no way I was attempting taking away the pacifier nor potty training until we were settled into our new house and finally into a routine again. The amount of summer traveling and airplane flights would have been torture for all! All three kids were wawa babies and I couldn't imagine raising one who wasn't! He was...

The MacDonalds: February 2015
http://themacdonalds-alohafromhawaii.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 28, 2015. How is it possible that she's N-I-N-E? We are so proud of the confident, intelligent, beautiful, and responsible young lady she is becoming! She was such a pain trying to get a photo of her for the "interview" above! I told her that all of these were going on the blog! She woke up on her 9th birthday for the FIRST time in the time zone that she was born in! Leevi and I woke her singing "Happy Birthday" at exactly 7:00am, the time she entered the world 9 years ago! And then on...

Monday, March 31, 2014. I don't even know where to begin and this won't even be a "real" post, but a hold-over until things settle down around here! We are in GO-GO-GO mode with the move to Missouri coming up in a few months.we are cramming in our last travels before we ship the van and prepping for the movers as much as we can (And we are getting ready to turn over the tenants in our Hawaii house! Thankfully, we found new renters super fast! We'll have some down time until we fly on June 11th. The follo...

The MacDonalds: Beach days
http://themacdonalds-alohafromhawaii.blogspot.com/2015/07/beach-days.html
Saturday, July 25, 2015. We hit the beach up 6-7 times during the 3 weeks we were there! The water wasn't too chilly and we all had a blast (and it gave my parents some down time at the house, ha! We were able to meet up with the Kownack girls and catch up! We all missed Bobby though! We borrowed two body boards from the Kownacks during the weeks we were there and the girls really got the hang of it! A super crowded day at Sandbridge. Luke and Miles (Sara's youngest). Hailey and Avery (Sara's oldest).

Monday, April 20, 2015. Luke's 3rd birthday party. We had Luke's party a few days after his birthday based around soccer games (of course! He saw me making his cake and he said, "it's my birthday again? A cute tidbit that I forgot to add in his last post was Hailey was quizzing him on his numbers and she held up 2 fingers and he said, "two", she held up 1 finger and he said, "one", then she held up 3 fingers and he said, "that's a big boy" So sweet, sniff, sniff! Happy birthday, Luke James! Sigh, I don't...
