Going through IVF in Ireland. Published July 21, 2014. This week has been full of deliveries to house, workmen, no wifi and more antenatal classes! Wifi arrived this morning! Total weight gain: 27 pounds or 1 stone, 13lbs . Put on 1/4 of pound this week. Started at 143 lbs. Am now 170 and and am 2 lbs under max recommended weight range, which 18-26 lbs at 34 weeks. I’m able to pick up the hearbeat at home with my doppler now so that is very comforting. Trying to add another person to the planet. Second beta was good: my hCG doubled and my progesterone rose. My estrogen went down, of course, so I am now taking every hormone supplement known to man. The run up to Christmas was ok, a bit tough but I avoided the Christmas ads on TV which helped and just tried to get into the spirit of it (read: just got drunk). IVF #1 was a success! I'm due February 11, 2009. Friday, June 5, 2009. Petra is consistently rolling from her back to tummy, but she's just on the verge of going the other way. She's now unswaddled in her crib for all naps and nighttime! Nights are going well- she's only up about once a night, and last night STTN!
