And it seems like everywhere around me stories of still births are popping up like crazy, especially online. A journey through IVF and infertility. Hi everyone. A little background info on me: we have been trying to have a baby for the past 3 years. Me and my DH have been together for 9 years and married for 4. Fast forward to today. We did our first IVF cycle w/ICSI in May/June 2013 that was unsuccessful. Only 6, poor quality eggs were retrieved and only 2 of those made it to transfer but did not implant. Currently, I am still recovering from OHSS and plan to start the process for my first FET in mid-September.

A journey through IVF and infertility. January 8, 2014. U/s went great again. I stop all my supportive medications tomorrow (estrogen, progesterone, prednisone) and am so terrified of bleeding and m/c. Had my first OB appointment here with the doctor who should be delivering the baby. Was not so impressed with the office but the OB himself was really great so I’ll stick with it for now. Time goes so slowly with infertility, you feel like you are constantly waiting. Waiting for period, waiting for no period, waiting for ovulation, waiting for scans, waiting for appointments…It makes you more patient as you know you just have to go with it.
