100 Years of GF Smith Paper: Inspiration for Poster
http://jadechadwick.blogspot.com/2011/03/inspiration-for-poster.html
100 Years of GF Smith Paper. Wednesday, 2 March 2011. I really like Julene's work. I especially like the top image and the use of different colours, they all work really well together! She cuts all the lettering/imagery out using a scalpel and does it really neatly. Another way of doing it is using Laser cutting, and for my poster that could work really well. I could layer up colours and still have a detailed image. The backgrounds are always important to make the text stand out. I love Yulia's work!

100 Years of GF Smith Paper: Photos I Could Use For Task 2 Final Poster
http://jadechadwick.blogspot.com/2011/03/photos-i-could-use-for-task-2-final.html
100 Years of GF Smith Paper. Friday, 11 March 2011. Photos I Could Use For Task 2 Final Poster. Colours look good. Stands out. I really like the two below, but when i re-read the brief i realised the poster has to be portrait. I think its good it says 100 but its not clear to read. Below is my favourite and the image i have chosen to develop! Out of the list I created in my previous blog I have chosen FIreworks/Explosion and Presents/Gifts to celebrate the 100 years of GF Smith Paper.

Saturday, 12 March 2011. Below are some of the images i took just using one large lamp. i wanted to see the effect of the shadow from the shape. I find it creates quite a menacing sharp jagged effect. I also thought it might create a nice effect from the cut away parts on some of the pyramids to have a shadow showing the details. Helen Coghlan: Task Two Final Piece
http://helencoghlan.blogspot.com/2011/03/task-two-final-piece.html
Tuesday, 15 March 2011. Task Two Final Piece. These are some of the photos of my pyramid made for my poster. As well as experimenting with artificial lighting using lamps i edited the photos on photoshop adjusting the levels. Adding sharpness to the photos and sometimes just fiddling with lighting effects etc. these aren't all of them as some are in my sketchbook and some wouldn't upload for a strange reason so i put a range of what i could on. Helen Coghlan: Task 1
http://helencoghlan.blogspot.com/2011/03/task-1.html
Wednesday, 9 March 2011. Here is where i started with a mock-up showing the basic form of the pyramids that will form my structure. As well as making single pyramids i did these double pyramids where two are already joint together. This created a slightly different shape and effect combining the two. Here i added a single pyramid and another double pyramid. Here again i added more to show the start of the branches nature in how it will first twist. Here it is cut out so you can see the net clearly. Here ...

Design Blog: February 2011
http://staceydaley.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Monday, 28 February 2011. Just a few more. Jen's work was the first paper artist I found to use such bright and astonishing colours that almost gives his work identity. Sher's models remind me somewhat of the joker, but are constructed with a purpose, and a plan. Obvious that the colours were chosen purposely for that section of the model. It seems well thought out, and textile-like. Masahiro's use of shading along with the cut outs gives his pieces depth. The use of angels in his photography are very im...

Monday, 14 March 2011. Also, I enjoyed using a blog to show my development. Even though I've used blogs before, I've never used them to show my uni work, and I found it easy to use.
