Frosty News: Setting up the stamp 'shot'
http://frostynews.blogspot.com/2009/11/setting-up-stamp-shot.html
Monday, 30 November 2009. Setting up the stamp 'shot'. I've dropped on a plane behind the blue tit model and added an image using the Material Editor. I quite like this angle looking up at the bird against the sky. It's a nice contrast. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Setting up the stamp shot. Shes got legs. :oD. The innocent victim. The Fly. Monday, 30 November 2009. Setting up the stamp 'shot'. I've dropped on a plane behind the blue tit model and added an image using the Material Editor. I quite like this angle looking up at the bird against the sky. It's a nice contrast. I've just chucked on some material to the head, body and eyes and I'm chuffed with the results :o). I used the original photo image to cature the materials in Photoshop. And applied those save JPEGS to the Material Editor. Manipulation with the UVW Mapping. To get a half ...

Friday, 30 October 2009. A Day At The Museum. On the 16th October, AJ, Oz, Rich Daryl and myself jumped on the train and headed for the Nutural History Museum in London for some full on diversity research. We were lucky enough to get to check out the new 'Cocoon' wing that houses the labs of the Angela Marmont Centre for UK Biodiversity. The vast scale of the museums collection can be glimpsed in drawer after drawer of wee beasties ;o). The achitectural gem that is the NHM, stunning! For the body and tho...

3D Modelling & Animation: Finishing Up.
http://samuelbrazier3d.blogspot.com/2009/12/finishing-up.html
3D Modelling and Animation. Thursday, 10 December 2009. Just added the finishing touches to my Models, and rendered them in photoshop into their final stamp designs. Quite pleased with how they turned out, although I'm sure if I had had more time to work with the program, I could have mastered alot more of the features. I have read through a number of the other blogs from around the group, and I'm impressed by the work that has been turned out. Well Done Guys! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

3D Modelling & Animation: September 2009
http://samuelbrazier3d.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
3D Modelling and Animation. Wednesday, 30 September 2009. After only 2 sessions of working with 3D Studio Max, I feel quite comfortable around the software already. Richard really helps out around the group, and that helps all of us advance in our own ways. We have learned a good number of cool techniques on the software and I feel that over the next few weeks, all of us will get alot better at using the program. I'm looking foward to creating some really interesting and complex objects in the software.

Its part of the Nature Shock series on Five (channel 5) and covers a dramatic event when the one of the top predators in the sea, the Great White Shark, became the prey for the first time to another predator, the Killer Whale. Here is the HTML address which links you directly to the Episode if you wish to see it:. BBC iPlayer - Life.

http://samuelbrazier3d.blogspot.com/2009/11/progress-on-koi.html
3D Modelling and Animation. Wednesday, 11 November 2009. Progress on the Koi. Creating a Koi in 3D is turning out a bit more complex than I expected. Probably wasnt the easiest option I could have taken, but it's getting there. Here is a snippet of some progress on it before the remaining smaller features and textures. Stay tuned to Koi TV.
