The Cronin Connection: Valentines from Nora!
http://croninconnectionblog.blogspot.com/2014/02/valentines-from-nora.html
Wednesday, February 12, 2014. Nora isn't in daycare or preschool so we haven't done any valentines for other kids yet, but this year I decided to participate in my moms group's Valentine's Day exchange. Making a valentine for her friends from Nora was a lot of fun! And I tried a few new things with my Silhouette Cameo which was a great learning experience. I wanted to make a little coloring page as the valentine so it would give Nora's friends something to do (and maybe give their moms a little break!

There is a great deal involved in having a preemie that I was unaware of until I found myself a preemie mother. For example, I was caught off guard when I found myself crying in front of my baby’s isolette. That morning, I had an emer...

The Cronin Connection: April 2013
http://croninconnectionblog.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Big Greetings for Small Babies. I love the preemie community. I've gotten so much support from other moms, and tried to provide that same support to new moms of preemies as often as I can. But since I received our shirts from It's a Preemie Thing. I've been thinking of a way that I can provide a good or service to other preemie families. I only have a few items listed so far but I have plans for many more soon. I have set up a Facebook page. Saturday, April 27, 2013. As you know ...

We live on borrowed time. Let's celebrate and sing, as we walk bravely into the unknown.". Monday, February 25, 2013. Recently Adam had the very exciting experience of taking his first airplane trip! My mom, Adam, and I flew to Arizona to surprise my grandma and celebrate her 80th birthday. We had a wonderful time visiting with family that we see far too infrequently, and loved soaking up some sunshine! Adam was an absolute champ while we were traveling, and had a great time on the plane! Hi, I'm Jess...

We live on borrowed time. Let's celebrate and sing, as we walk bravely into the unknown.". Wednesday, April 11, 2012. It could certainly be argued that Rent references have become cliche. Today, however, as we celebrate the one year anniversary of Adam's successful airway reconstruction surgery, I am overwhelmed by how truly amazing the past 525,600 minutes of his life have been. So indulge my theatre geekery. :-). Saturday, April 7, 2012. Just wanted to fill everyone in on our visit to CHOP yesterday...

The Cronin Connection: February 2014
http://croninconnectionblog.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 19, 2014. Children are inherently messy. I think we can all agree on that. When Nora came home from the hospital she spewed like a fountain after every meal. Then came solid food and finding it anywhere and everywhere even though she only ate in one spot. And now it's the toys. My god, the toys. They are everywhere! And worse still, each toy comes with approximately 1 thousand parts, none of which you're ever able to find if you're actively looking for them. Nora was not a fan of the ...
