Team Tom: The start of summer...
http://tomteam4.blogspot.com/2015/06/the-start-of-summer.html
Friday, June 26, 2015. The start of summer. Well, summer has officially started. I can not believe how quickly this past year went by. Every day, every week, and every month just zooms along! My dad got a new boat, and Ashton got to drive it. He was pretty proud. After hiking Heart Mountain we decided to go back and hike the easier Heart Creek Trail. The kids really enjoyed it. Nigel took each kid up to the top of a rock peak to see the waterfall. Daily routine - Ash and I out driving. She is so big!

-The Family Mac-: November 2014
http://ourfamilymac.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 2, 2014. The decorations are put away and we are slowly coming down from our sugar high! Halloween was a week long whirlwind of fun, culminating in one of the nicest nights of Trick-or-treating I can remember in our fair city. Carson was Spiderman, Catriona was a cowgirl and Elsa (depending on the event) and I was a Dalmatian (although many confused me for a cow, which I was not too pleased about! We started the week off carving our pumpkins and roasting pumpkin seeds - yum! Books - espe...

-The Family Mac-: April 2013
http://ourfamilymac.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 22, 2013. We attended "Aggie Days" in Calgary last week - basically an opportunity for kids to learn about animals, farming, where our food comes from etc. Carson was quite enthralled with the whole thing (although you could not tell from the picture below) - it helped that there were great big tractors everywhere. Catriona was most interested with the goodies she could accumulate. Getting ready for Halloween? Carson has his own playdate. So long tooth; hello tooth fairy. We welcomed the to...

-The Family Mac-: September 2013
http://ourfamilymac.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 9, 2013. Location, location, location. Inspired by her buddy, Catriona wanted to have a lemonade stand as soon as she got home from school today - she even invited her friend on the bus who ended up coming by which was great. Unfortunately, our quiet cul-de-sac does not lend itself to many customers but it was hard for anyone passing by to avoid Carson's sales pitch. He may actually want to consider a career in sales. Monday, September 2, 2013. Taking a walk to check out the beach.

-The Family Mac-: February 2013
http://ourfamilymac.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 20, 2013. I think I love it more as an adult than I did as a kid - this week Catriona had a skating party for Sparks which I also got to enjoy(another missed photo op) - her activities are all about my enjoyment after all, right? Don't worry - she loves it too! Nostalgic for the early years? We spent as much time in the lodge as on the hill. Tuesday, February 5, 2013. A weekend away to the cabin for Mommy with a few of my girlfriends. Showing off our toques from Janet. A winter hike i...

Tuesday, January 7, 2014. Wrapping up Christmas Break. Our Vancouver Grandparents spent the last three days of our Christmas break with us and the kids were thrilled. They also got to get together with their Calgary cousins for the first time in a long time and had a blast. The highlight for Catriona was probably getting her older cousin Kierra to teach her (or make her) all sorts of cool Rainbow Loom items. The kids seemed to be almost as excited about New Year's Eve as they were on Christmas Day! We ar...

Tuesday, December 23, 2014. Twas Two Nights Before Christmas. And truly, not a creature is stirring, so I can actually update my blog! Sigh, almost two months since my last update and so many fun adventures to report on but hardly any pics to capture them. I have been a lazy photographer. Here are a few highlights. We spent a weekend in Beaver Mines in November - there was lots of snow for sledding! And plenty of time for Dad and I to win in bridge. Crazy hair day at school. Getting excited for Christmas.

Friday, May 24, 2013. Spring is in the air (finally). We have had a great month with the weather finally getting nice, giving us lots of opportunities to get outdoors. Here are a few catch up photos from the month. One of the highlights from the past month was a visit from Grandma Brenda and her partner, Wayne. The kids loved their time with them both! Celebrating Earth Day - Catriona made an Earth flag. Taking a well deserved break. Carson bringing me my cookie - I love the look of joy on his face.
