Where several Texas librarians write about books and stuff. Monday, March 4, 2013. Quintana of Charyn by Melina Marchetta. Finnikin of the Rock. Froi of the Exiles. Let's start with the cover. I love the cover art. I love how fierce Quintana looks, love the dagger, love how it matches up to the previous books in the series. Love, love, love. They did a great job of providing a cover that is interesting and will draw people in to the series. Seriously, 'cause they go through a lot. And the greatest thing?

Going Bald: Authenticity or Bust. You've reached the website and blog of YA author Ally Cowee. Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Author Beth Kephart has a fantastic blog. Which I love to start my day reading. They remind me of the window I'm looking through as I write this, an old window, my office window, stained with thirty years of hard water and grime, and fogged up right now with cold and rain. The week before we moved. Talking to f...
