Monday, March 31, 2014. Could Spring Finally Be Here? Today the temperature reached high 40s and felt like high 50s when in the sun and out of the wind. AMAZING! Wednesday, May 28, 2014. A few minutes later H and I were doing her morning jobs - getting dressed, making her bed, brushing teeth, and combing hair. Having been asked if she wanted pig tails, braids or a ponytail, she responded "I'd like pink tails because I like pink." Friday, March 20, 2015. We started the month in Niagara Falls with my parents. It was so much fun. None of us had ever seen the falls in the winter, and they were breathtaking. We also spent a bunch of inside time at a water park, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. As you can imagine, the kids were more than exhausted after all that fun. They both fell asleep within five minutes of starting to drive back home. After grocery shopping one day, Benjamin helped empty the clementines! Another walk in the snow :).

I called them donut holes once when teaching Sunday School, and my students swiftly corrected me. These are NOT donut holes. These are Timbits.". Timbits. Sold at Tim Horton's. Wednesday, June 25, 2014. We all traveled with John while he attended a conference in St. Catherines, located a few hours away from Toronto. It was such a great long weekend. The kids and I just played, drove/rode in the car, played, shopped, and played some more. John was able to join us for a good portion of our fun, so that was an added bonus! The shopping wasn't their favorite, but the kids loved riding in shopping carts together. Please note this cart from Target was over half the length of our car!

Tuesday, January 13, 2015. On Christmas Eve, John ran an errand and when he returned home, Uncle Rob was with him. Helena was so surprised and so happy to see him! Since his sister adored him so much, it took all of five minutes for Benjamin to love Uncle Rob just as much. It was so great having him here for Christmas Day. Friday, October 17, 2014. Girl Scout vs. Girl Guide. We had our first opportunity to buy Girl Guides of Canada cookies this year. We bought the Chocolatey Mint Cookies, to see how it compared to Girl Scous of America version - Thin Mints. They are quite similar, but see that white creamy layer? Jacob, Sara, Keely and Jordan's Adventures. Tuesday, August 27, 2013. On The Road Again. We ran out of Tylenol and Ibuprofen last night, and Jacob was able to go out and get us some! We'll see what the unpredictable excitement will be! I have had a lot of thoughts that I've been thinking of sharing, but I'm just never near anywhere to write them down. We'll see if I'll be able to work writing more into my daily schedule or not. You just never know! I just have to learn what my body needs and listen to it.

Tuesday, December 16, 2008. Benjamin and I took a train ride last week to visit my grandparents. The train worked out really well. There was enough room that Benjamin could play on the seat next to me, and I could get up and walk around with him if he got fussy. Train travel was great!
