Please excuse the mess, we live here. Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Monday was no practice. Joe doesn't work Mondays, so he was home, and we were in the middle of a very regular day doing whatever it is we regular people do. The power went out at 2:30, and we had a small celebration - woohoo! We'll have a power-out practice for REAL! Be fooled - it looks light outside and we're the dummies who need a lamp, but really. Then it's like a slap in the face - only 8:30! We should stay up! We should play games!

Patrick was awarded the "Sparkly" award at school - their mascot is Sparky the yearling, so it was a cute play on words - but the award was for the Friendliest Kid in First Grade. WOW! Tuesday, December 30, 2014. We invited the regular cast of characters over to our house for a (surprise, surprise) PRINCESS BIRTHDAY PARTY! Before her friends came over she was able to open one present early. Our beautiful princess was ready for the party! They played kiss the frog prince. Adorable! Then had a freeze dance party. Crazy! L was VERY impatient for the yummy looking cupcakes! We had a princess lunch with triangle sandwiches, cheese sticks, pretzels and grapes. Everybody had a GREAT time!

Sunday, April 19, 2015. YMCA field trip to the nursery. C's class went on a fun trip to a local nursery at the end of March. It almost felt like spring as we were enjoying all of the beautiful flowers inside the warm green houses. After the tour they got to plant their own flower, which is still blooming strong today! Monday, September 8, 2014. We love living so close to Yellowstone. We've visited a couple times this summer, but it was so fun to share it with cousins and grandparents. Our family spent the most lovely afternoon along the Yellowstone River. Jeff was itching to fish for the beautiful Yellowstone Cutthroat and I was excited to have a break from the crowds. Ik woon nu één jaar in mijn nieuwbouw. Ik gebruik inderdaad ook regenwater voor was, wc, kuisen, etc. Afkomstig uit onze verplichte regenwaterput.
