During this week’s study, we spent a significant amount of time learning about information processing theory and how the brain and learning can happen. Dr Ormrod, in her video “Information Processing and Problem Solving” focused on the three cognitive processes involved in problem solving. While this would explain how older children and adults approach problem, I felt that I needed to understand a bit more about how we reach that point.
