Being Jill: Max on the move
http://javajill.blogspot.com/2012/03/max-on-move.html
Wednesday, March 14, 2012. Max on the move. So, a disadvantage of having older children in the house is that we haven't been really motivated to but up some sort of gate to keep Max in the family room. It worked when we had Kate. However, I think I might go nuts if I had to move the gate every time Kate wanted to get through right now. So Max has quickly learned the skill of climbing up the 2 steps. He's very fast with it. Especially if he can find something to put in his mouth. First Day of First Grade.

Being Jill: October 2011
http://javajill.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 30, 2011. Suzi and Abigail came up last weekend. And these are the only pieces of photographic evidence! I guess when you fight going to sleep the night before for a good 2.5 hours, it makes it easier to crash out on the couch before dinner. Roll over, Max. If you listen carefully, you may be able to hear him fart after he rolls over. :). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Adventures of Owen and Henry. First Day of First Grade. Being Jill: Crib time
http://javajill.blogspot.com/2012/03/crib-time.html
Wednesday, March 14, 2012. Sleeping babies are always cute. I'm pretty sure he woke up with crib-slat mark on the top of his head. Mommy, I was awake for a while before I made much noise. You might want to move changing table supplies to a more secure location before I learn to make a real mess of things. Awww, I love a sleeping baby! March 14, 2012 at 8:27 AM. Being Jill: Kate's Art
http://javajill.blogspot.com/2012/03/kates-art.html
Wednesday, March 14, 2012. Kate is frequently creating drawings for us. Some more abstract than others. She's also been bringing home work from pre-school (a part of day care). Each day we get a report of how her day went. Whether she had to go in the corner or not (usually not). Who. Have to go in the corner and why. We often hear about her friend Hailey going into the corner for running, pushing, taking toys, etc. Her response: "I can take care of myself.". Enter much laughter at the dinner table.

Being Jill: June 2011
http://javajill.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Oh, a rose! Our first rose of the season was a big, beautiful one. And thorn free, so Kate could easily carry it around the whole evening. Max - six weeks. It's the only picture I took of him on Monday, but it's notable because he is asleep during the daytime without the added assistance of a car ride. Tuesday, June 14, 2011. On Monday, we visited Camp Kramer for lunch. Only took one photo, but it's a keeper! Suzi and Zachary's visit. Sharing a chair . . . A boy cousin moment.

Being Jill: July 2011
http://javajill.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Once Kate agreed for the Pacifier Faerie to come and visit, the winged-one traded the pacifiers for a bubble toy. It's a pink piggy that counts bubble while it's eating them. I'm just so thrilled to not have those gross pacifiers around any more. Ohhh Aren't they cute! Daddy and the Kids. On July 6th (this was a busy week) we all went to an Aquasox game. It was HOT - at least by this summer's standards. Max and Doug with some quality smile time. Fun in Oak Harbor. Then there was s...

Being Jill: November 2011
http://javajill.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Hey, I dig your watch. We both have stripes! Kate's first take in the jacuzzi tub turned a bubble bath into a very very very bubbly bath. As in, bubbles so thick you could make a snowman out of them. Grandpa reading Kate LOTS of books. Zachary and Kate playing with the dragon. Beatrix enjoying an apple peel. Apple peels, music, and smiles. 6 grandkids eating lunch. On Friday, the kids and I drove down to Oregon. Our first stop was the Friedlers. Thursday, November 24, 2011.

Lucas, Marla, Owen and Henry. Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Owen had a day of questions. He asked a LOT of questions. Here are a few:. How does your body work? What if you didn't have a brain? Where is Green Lantern from? What are his powers? What if the earth spun faster? What if you breathed in potato chips in space? How big was Mt. Rainier before it exploded? What do you mean you don't know? How many animals died from Mt. Saint Helens explosion? Why is Darth Vader bad? What do jails look like? The alli...

Lucas, Marla, Owen and Henry. Tuesday, September 24, 2013. During our tour of the monorail, their photographer followed us around and took pictures. They emailed them to us. so here are even more pictures! My fixer men. (the tires in the back-ground cost over $700 a piece. Each monorail has over 120 tires! Thom and the boys. The boys loved their ride! But also loved the exit turn-styles. Again, what an amazing opportunity and adventure! They let the boys spray the hose. which is always fun! Next, we drov...
