Jake and Ryan's Road Trip. Wednesday, August 12, 2009. California, the Golden aka burnt brown state! I have made it! She wouldn't even get of the car! She signaled for me to get out of the car, which I did, and then she gave me a huge hug! The surprise was totally worth it :). This all took place on my last day in Seattle. Jake and Sam — Let's Cook! It’s BBQ hour somewhere…. December 6, 2012. 1-1/2 lbs. large unpeeled shrimp, preferably with heads on. For the peri-peri sauce:. 1 tablespoon chopped garlic. 2 teaspoons of hot red pepper (flakes, cayenne, or piment d’Espelette, which is milder). 2 tablespoons lemon juice. 1 cup vegetable oil. Grill them on a hot barbeque for 1- 2 minutes a side, depending on their size. You can thread them on skewers if you think it’ll make them easier to handle. 1 tablespoon grated ginger.
