For when I think a thought is worth saving somewhere. Monday, May 3, 2010. Recently I have found myself coasting through life. I'm stuck in a routine. My routine is a pretty good one, but I feel as if I'm living out Groundhog Day. Every weekday I wake up at the same time, do the same things, meet the same people. Nothing new happens, and it is becoming frustrating. Today I hit the point where I decided to do something about it, so I sat down and made myself think. The following were my conclusions.

To me believing the earth is only thousands of years old is equivalent to believing the earth does not revolve around the sun. The scientific evidence suggesting the earth is billions of years old is overwhelmingly convincing, as is the scientific evidence that the earth rotates the sun. But that is ridiculous! They say. "Do you not believe the bible to be true? Well clearly you have taken those verses out of context," they reply.
