http://thedragonstales.blogspot.com/2015/05/chinas-j-20-stealth-fighter-needs-new.html
Ramblings of a Curiosity Seeker. Thursday, May 21, 2015. China's J-20 Stealth Fighter Needs a new Engine. The J-20 combat aircraft, a new generation of combat aircraft, is currently engaged in intensive trial flights. According to photos circulating online, a newly designed J-20 coded 2013 carried out a series of low altitude maneuvers that demonstrated its relatively advanced performance. From the photo we can clearly see features of the nose including the radome layout, the cockpit, and the canards.

Writin and Bloggy Stuff. Rachel McGonagill: writer, blogger, malcontent. See my fiction here:. 03 August 2009 @ 07:16 pm. The Forbes Top 25 Fictional Companies. Who said Forbes magazine has no sense of humor? Though 2 years old, this article about the best-off fictional companies of 2007. Such as Cyberdyne and ACME, is funny stuff. I also salute their previous pastiche on the most expensive, exclusive fictional homes. Including Pemberly and Tara, as well as Forbes' Fictional 15. 17 March 2009 @ 10:38 am.

Maya Reynolds: Hey, Rick Perry!
http://mayareynoldswriter.blogspot.com/2012/07/hey-rick-perry.html
One Writer's View of the World. Tuesday, July 10, 2012. Hey, Rick Perry! Yesterday, you announced that all Texans have access to insurance. Your choice of the word "access" reminds me of Bill Clinton's nitpicking the word "is.". I've lived and worked in Texas for over 30 years, and I'm calling you out. It took about five minutes to find the data I needed to refute your absurd comment. From the Kaiser Family Foundation:. 25% of Texans live in poverty compared to 21% in the U.S. at large. Im actually a big...

One Writer's View of the World. Wednesday, March 02, 2011. California Jumps Into the Argument. California has joined those states pushing Amazon to pay sales taxes on Internet purchases made within their borders. And Amazon is pushing back. Yesterday, Dow Jones Newswires reported here. This is in line with Amazon's previous stance toward other states that have tried to collect sales taxes because the company is operating within their borders. Amazon's Associates Program allows Internet users to advertise...

Maya Reynolds: February 2011
http://mayareynoldswriter.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
One Writer's View of the World. Thursday, February 24, 2011. I'm too tired to take on a heavy subject tonight so I'm just going to tell what happened today. This tale will probably give a psychologist pause, but . I'd soldiered on until today when I had both the headache and stomach issues from the post-nasal drip. I emailed my boss to say I'd be at home, took a handful of meds and went back to bed. Pleased that I hadn't missed trash day, I returned to the house to find my back door locked. There I stood...

Maya Reynolds: Postscript to My Christmas Story
http://mayareynoldswriter.blogspot.com/2011/12/postscript-to-my-christmas-story.html
One Writer's View of the World. Monday, December 26, 2011. Postscript to My Christmas Story. Well, it isn't quite over yet. Both Christmas Day and the day after- known as St. Stephen's Day by Catholics and Boxing Day by our British friends- were pretty exciting for Van Gogh and me. Alas, it was not to be. After about an hour, fearful that he would scratch the healing hole in his head open again, I put the collar back on. When I tried to enter the bathroom, the door opened about half an inch and then stop...

Wait 'till the fire turns green : March 2015
http://the-archfiend.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Wait 'till the fire turns green. Because my karma ran over my dogma. Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Ah, Mike Pence. No sooner does he decide to make a splash in the 2016 GOP Presidential field by signing a certain controversial bill than he finds out that a whole lot of people don't really like it, including other public officials. In his capital, major business executives. And even the NCAA. Or failing that, blaming the other guy's laws. Labels: tinfoil hat zone. There are no words. This stands as proof that ...

May 17th, 2015 09:35 am. Err, no, not quite that; thatd be Justice League. This is more like DC New Mutants Assemble, maybe? Im intrigued. Firestorm (at least, the original. Is a challenging character to carry for the screen- two personalities living in one body, and lots of unheroic parts and cultural themes that have mutated in the past 25 years. In this case it looks like the older one is the body, which also made me happy: how many superheroes are presented as being over the age 40? Which was so far ...

The basic facts of infinite realities. 28 October 2011 @ 04:14 pm. The badmagic One-Liner Roundup, or Who Said That? Just posted to his journal a poll about recognizing quotations- a list of quotations asking "how many do you recognize," and a second list asking how many most people (in general) would recognize. Myself, I answered yes to most of them, even ones I couldn't get specifically with source and author, as long as I could recognize it/complete it if it was quoted at me/what have you. From memory...

Glittering prizes and endless compromises. Shatter the illusion of integrity. Nov 21st, 2012 at 6:55 PM. Last night picked up my spirit a bit; ran the second half of the intro adventure for Edge of Empire. System is growing on me. I got Redshirts out of the library a couple weeks ago. I had read the first four chapters on my phone but hadn't moved into the book since I got it. So I decided to renew it. But someone else has put a hold on it. Posted via LiveJournal.app. Mar 30th, 2012 at 9:18 AM. He'd hear...
