Saturday, March 27, 2010. New Milestones Make Me Tired. At this point Neriah started crying from the bedroom, so I went in and laid down with her, hoping she would just fall asleep (and knowing she wouldn't). That's when James started puking, and holy crap does he ever puke loudly. Neriah got scared and started wailing. I brought her out and got James a glass of water (she wouldn't let me put her down). Saturday, December 25, 2010. I'm 38 weeks pregnant today, and ready for baby boy to come! Neriah had a great Christmas. She loved opening presents. Sunday, November 01, 2009. We didn't take Neriah out since she's still pretty young, but we spent the day brewing beer with Chad, Lynda, and their 8 month old, Kiehl. It was a lot of fun, and we dressed Neriah up in a Halloween onesie and baby legs. She's so cute! I can't wait til next year when we'll be able to put her in a real costume and take her trick or treating. And James can't wait til the end of Nov. when he gets to try the beer he made! Thursday, January 06, 2011. The midwives came and checked me. I was surprised to hear that I was already 7-8cm. I didn't get that far with Neriah in 25hours of labour, and I'd only been at this for about 2 hours! The midwives told me that it was a good thing we were planning a homebirth, because it was happening quickly. James started to fill up our bathtub while I laboured on my left side on the couch with a midwife pushing on my back. I said, "That literally felt like a balloon popped in my vagina!

Friday, September 03, 2010. It's Been a Long Time! I can't believe how long it's been since I posted. I just really suck at blogging! We just finished our fifth move in three years, and we're loving it! We're slowly settling in, and Neriah seems to be adjusting fine! She has her own room now, and has spent the past two nights in her room, in her crib. She has been in our room and in bed with us since she was born, so it's quite a change for her!
