Thursday, April 30. At the beginning of November James and I met up with Gary and Isabel. To run the Santa Barbara Half Marathon. It was such a pretty course. And such a blast to run it with Isabel. What a strong lady! She helped me finish with my fastest half marathon time yet. I wish I was as cool as she is at 16. She's going to do some pretty awesome things in this world. The last mile was the Veteran's mile. It was lined with American flags,. And some service men cheering us on. I love those ladies.

I haven't made it for awhile, but Megan made it for Ty the other day and reminded me how amazing it is and it's EASY! And yes, it is VERY similar to the CAFE RIO pork. Do a salad, or a burrito, or what ever you want. It also freezes very well! 6 lbs pork roast. 1 16 oz. bottle salsa. 2 cups brown sugar. 1 lb long-grain rice (2 ¼ C) 1 bunch of cilantro. 1 C mayo 3 tomatillas.

We told the tech we didn't want to know, so when she was ready to look at the gender, she told us to look away. We did, and when she finished she told us it was safe to look. We continued on the measure the spine and legs and I knew what it was. That little stinker kept flashing us his boy parts! We laughed so hard!
