Monday, June 30, 2014. On a whim (very unlike me) I took the girls to to the 35th Annual Jamesville Balloon Fest! They launch a bunch of hot air balloons into the sky - and it is pretty awesome. I couldn't believe how close they let you get to the action, and what a small space they are able to squeeze all those balloons in! I was surprised at how low-key and uncrowded it felt, plus it was free! Brinkley's Favorite - with the bow. A special treat - they got to stand on the car so I could snap a few photos.

Monday, October 6, 2008. It's a hat day- A bit of randomness. Well, this morning. We bundled. I always have mixed feelings about the fall. I love the fall, don't get me wrong. But my problem is the cold. I don't like being cold. I love being warm, though, which also happens in the fall. Let me share:. This morning. I did NOT want to wake up. Munchkin-8:30; Monkey-Between 7:30 and 8:00, but occasionally has a 10:00 feeding, but that’s ok with me. How long have you been a mom? How old were you when you became a mom? What is your favorite kid show? Least favorite kid TV show? Most Saturday Morning stuff. It’s all very “Teeny Bopper” stuff. Favorite meal to cook? German Pancakes or Shepherd’s Pie. What is the meal cooked most often?

Monday, July 5, 2010. We were lucky enough to inherit a set of tickets to Hershey Park a few weeks ago. I'd never been to Hershey and so we decided to lather on some sunscreen and head on out to the land of milk chocolate. We also enjoyed the lazy river, which is totally worth the ticket price, which I don't know what it is, since we were given our tickets, but whatever the cost, the lazy river is worth it. Friday, December 9, 2011. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Christmas is in full swing at our place! Despite the cold which I'm not very fond of, I'm really getting into the magic of Christmas with the kids! We started a new tradition with our Elf on the Shelf. Tonight there was a little show on tv about him and the kids were glued! Why did he only stay for a while? It's truly heartwarming to see them believe! I love this picture:).
