I love the basic way for using a photo and drawing in block colour for the body. Possibly use a full body shot and enlarge the head. Rather crazy but cool animation! I like how the background doesnt change and has that weathered look. the quality of drawing is dead cool as well : ). I know its cheating cos its not digital, but its awesome.
