It only made sense to do a birthday party revolving around this book, so, thanks to my sweet husband who can take my ideas and turn them into something far better, we turned our house into a Cars and Trucks and Things that a Go wonderland. On Monday, September 8, 2014, we lost Anthony, our dear brother, son, nephew, and friend. There are so many things that I could say about my brother. The best part is that it all the magic happened in just about 2 hours. Then I was able to top it with my freshly made strawberry jam. Delicious. So here's the recipe for this amazing loaf of deliciousness (is that even a word? Where in the world? I tried doing everything I could to get this girl to come on her own, but I was left thinking that even though my body did what it was suppose to with Preston, that maybe it just forgot how to go into labor on it's own. From 38 weeks on I kept thinking, any day now,. And of course he got a little panicked thinking we needed to rush to the hospital right then. I assured him that I didn't think it was go time yet, heck, I wasn't even having contractions, so what was the rush, right?
