family is life. life is family.: January 2013
http://riddfam.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Family is life. life is family. Tuesday, January 29, 2013. I have always wanted to teach my own kids how to ski, but its definitely harder when they are your own! Malia keeps up quite well for a 3 year old. I use my super short skis and no poles, but it still seemed easier to teach 15 years ago. Even with classes of 10 kids! But I love to go, at least to get the kids some fresh air, family time, exercise, sunshine and hot chocolate. The basics of happiness. Posted by Wes and Jess. Links to this post.

Family is life. life is family. Friday, December 7, 2012. 1 year follow up post surgery, Morgan. On a darker note, I went to back up my phone tonight to update it and it completely crashed. I lost all my contacts and photos. So frustrating. I had planned to blog all about malia tomorrow since it's her first dance recital. I lost it all. Some days just really suck. Family is life. life is family. Monday, December 30, 2013. Our christmas was chaotic and messy for a week! And oh how some might reject! But my heart is with my children, my husband, and love for the Savior. Too bad he doesn't get visitors more often. i sure love and admire that man, I see so much of Wes in him, he really cares and we feel it. I have loved having the kids home, we have gone sledding and played together all week. I'll be sad when they have to go back to school! Posted by Wes and Jess.

Family is life. life is family. Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Recovery is so much better, as well. I am so glad I didn't have the epidural and the following pain in the back that lingers on. I'll take short and intense over long mild and drawn out any day. I later found out when Morgan called from school that he had been praying for me to have a natural birth. I guess he had heard me talking about how much I dislike getting the epidural. I felt his prayers! And she is beautiful. It was a beautiful day.

family is life. life is family.: And healthy again

Family is life. life is family. Friday, March 6, 2015. I've wondered if certain areas (like the neighborhood I used to live in) have higher doses of aluminum in the water or lower amounts of silica (which helps remove aluminum from the body). I wonder this due to the fact that so many people in that area died from cancer. (One being my best friend). There is a reason this issue is often on my mind. Posted by Wes and Jess. Family is life. life is family. Wednesday, March 20, 2013. Yes Wes's birthday was 2 months ago and i've got a little time to blog about it because being the good dad that he is, he took little Malia to work with him today. I guess he was just doing runarounds. He also managed to sneak in a little lunch break with us today! Just a few amazing things about Wes. in no order, other than when it pops into my head. He is a hard worker and knows his priorities. Loves his kids and they know it. Links to this post.

I never would have thought to put Morgan in karate, but fate led the way on this one. I can already see an increase in his confidence, both physical and emotional, and he loves it. The teacher is fantastic, which is always a bonus. I just need to get him a headband so he looks like Johnny Lawrence from karate kid. Posted by Wes and Jess.

http://riddfam.blogspot.com/2015/02/sicklies.html
Family is life. life is family. Friday, February 6, 2015. I also sold my bike this week on the realization i wasn't going to be riding much- I just need something to pull the trailer at this point. Morgan and Carson continue to do well with school but I find it so wierd that I have to bribe them to play outside. Maybe it's the downside to having too many Legos. Posted by Wes and Jess.
