Friday, June 25, 2010. I took Little Man to the orthopedic surgeon today and he said that after reviewing the x-rays there was no fracture and that what the E.R. docs saw on the film was inconclusive so he even told me I could remove the splint (which had come off like a dozen times already) and we'll go back for one more re-check on Wednesday! Tuesday, September 7, 2010. My babies started MDO today! Lily will go Tuesday and Thursday from 9-12 and Reid will go on Tuesdays. Their classes are right across from each other so it's an easy drop off/pick up process for me. Reid was very excited and even "posed" before we left this house. Lily, not so much! We were lucky enough to have Hanz home, during R&R, to celebrate his 30th Birthday! Wednesday, October 13, 2010. Lily turned two years old on September 26th! I can't believe that my little girl is now two but she definitely acts every bit on those two years and then some! For her birthday we traveled to Birmingham and she enjoyed a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse themed party with about FIFTY of our closest friends and family! Thank you so much to my parents who once again let us party at their house, my dad who grilled about 100 hot dogs and the Baker family who let us use their awesome bouncie!

Sunday, December 26, 2010. We FINALLY celebrated Christmas in Savannah! It was so nice to have everyone come to us this year and not have to travel anywhere! Thanks to my parents, Hanz's parents, and Mae Mae and Michael for making it a super special first Christmas in our "not so new" home! We have a tradition in our family to open ONE gift Christmas Eve (I think it's b/c my family CANNOT wait or keep secrets! This is Reid's gift (a Leap Frog drum but Lily immediately took it over as if it were her's).

Monday, March 7, 2011. The "rest" of Disney. After my run, a massage and L-O-N-G nap, we headed back to Magic Kingdom. The Chili Cook Off. WAS SO MUCH FUN! It was a lot of fun though b/c as we stood there by the same tent, we were able to watch the other people walk about and actually ran into a bunch of people I haven't seen in a while (some since high school! Monday, May 24, 2010. Today I entered the last year of my 20s! I have the VERY BEST friends in the entire world and they treated me to a night out with plenty of Long Island Iced Teas to go around, wonderful gifts and the best Prime Rib a girl could imagine! Saturday, July 31, 2010. Friday, July 30, 2010. I volunteered at our church's VBS this year and was a "Crew Leader" for a group of 5 year olds! Can someone say EXHAUSTING? Not only did I have 6 VERY energetic little girls but VBS started at 6p and didn't get over until 9p, which REALLY threw me and my little babies for a loop! It was a really good time though and I know Lily loved playing with all of her little church friends and Reid, well, just liked being rocked by old ladies! Visit from KK (part 2).

Friday, June 12, 2015. A Mother's Reflection on Family Pictures. I have a love/hate relationship with family pictures. I love to see them, stare at them, frame them, shop for them but I HATE to get ready for them and take them. It is like the Nazis are coming and the house is on fire. And everyone is calling my name to let me know.and we are late. For the Nazis. I spend the whole morning trying to remember why I paid money for this.
