Thursday, April 24, 2014. I can't believe this was Ellie's second. Tuesday, April 15, 2014. I was nervous about the drive to California and back. Now that Ellie is mobile, she doesn't enjoy her car seat like she used to. She actually did awesome and slept a lot of the way. We also visited the beach for a total of 20 minutes, and found ourselves an amazing gelato place. It was a quick trip, but nice to get away for a couple of days. Friday, April 11, 2014. These are the days. Ok so I have never even heard of this place and then I saw some pictures on my friends Facebook, and thought it looked pretty cool. So I decided that we needed to go on an adventure! So the Spiral Jetty is rocks that make a "spiral" that goes out on the Great Salt Lake. Below is a slide show of the pictures that I took out there. It was way cool to see and it took us about an hour and a half to get out there. This is the other part of our adventure! Hahaanyway that looks fun! Well now...

Sunday, April 24, 2011. Sunday, April 17, 2011. While at Wood Badge, even though it is not required, I decided to write up goals for myself. One of those goals was to post a blog entry at least once a week. This is my journal and my life story. I want to be able to share this with my family as time goes on. I know that as I write I will be reminded of many ways that the Lord has blessed my life and the lives of my wife and children. I hope that through this I will be a better husband and father.

Monday, June 30, 2014. We went on a hike up Beus Canyon which is just up behind Brian's parents house. It was a beautiful trail, following a stream and lush with greenery. Monday, August 4, 2014. This year our July was jam packed with family and fun. This year Ellie could spend time trying to do what all the bigger kids do. All her cousins were so sweet to her, watching out for her and showing her things. She is such a lucky little lady! Joey and Ellie are just a few months apart. I'm sure they'll have plenty of adventures together as they grow up. Ellie spend quite a bit of time in the backpack this month. Ellie enjoyed the greenshow with Grandma. Splashing in the water.
