Sunday, December 21, 2014. Happy Holidays, 2014. I usually try to send out a photo card for Christmas but did not have time to do that this year. Our son in law David is a great photographer and took these beautiful pictures of the grandkids when they were all together on Thanksgiving, so I am stealing! Friday, August 7, 2015. The Rest of the Day in Amsterdam. Kitty in a store window, and I guess they don't like bikes! Want some coffee or some reefer? More people enjoying the day. I thought this little boy was cute, hugging the statue. Of course we had to walk through the Red Light District. It is HUGE! I had no idea how many blocks it covered. You can see a woman sitting in the window. We passed several who tried to entice us to come in. :). Artist on the street. Rich and Janes European Extravaganza.

Thursday, August 6, 2015. London, too quickly! Rich promises me we can go back another time and stay longer! National Gallery in Trafalgar Square. King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. We were starving by the time we finally stopped at a little cafe to have some fish and chips. We were told "cash only! We'd been using Euros on the trip and had no British pounds on us so we had to walk to an ATM and then come back. Of course, that did not help my already whiny mood! Back on the bus! The Beautiful Adventure Known as Life With Kids. Friday, December 6, 2013. My beautiful and wise daughter is 8 today! She lifts weights. She encourages me to do yoga with her. (I *try* to like yoga. She took the DVD from a friend of hers! I just want to tell her to enjoy life, to stop stressing out about stuff like abdominal muscles and gymnastics moves. I want her to be a little girl. Look at that TINY hand! She used to suck the "I love you" fingers just like Aunt Jorgie did. Gabe with his baby sister!

I have to admit to being a little bit complacent the last few years, a little tired of the fight, feeling a little older and isn’t it some other people’s turn?
