JANNER53's METAL DETECTING BLOG: Few hours at the beach.
http://janner53.blogspot.com/2015/05/few-hours-at-beach.html
Detecting Code of Conduct and The Law. Few hours at the beach. My metal detecting beach finds today. Okay I didn't find much, whats needed is a good storm to churn this beach up. Most of the finds above came out of the top dry shingle where people sunbathed. The coins are all modern decimal apart from a ship halfpenny. I did find a very tiny coin that stumped me until I returned home, where I discovered it was a Polish 1 Grosz, dated 2006. Thursday 21 May 2015. Labels: Metal Detecting Beach Finds. Past T...

Ramblings of a part time metal detectorist in West Sussex, England. Looking at Responsible Metal Detecting. Metal Detecting For Beginners. Thursday, 24 April 2014. Just got back from a week in Camber Sands with the partner and the little man. I had hoped to do some blogging but on arriving at our rented house I soon found out there wasn't any wifi. Ooops. In hindsight though it was actually rather nice to be free from the shackles of the internet. I did manage to dig out the following mighty hoard. Confl...

Ramblings of a part time metal detectorist in West Sussex, England. Looking at Responsible Metal Detecting. Metal Detecting For Beginners. Tuesday, 18 March 2014. Something to look into. Is a archaeological dig with detectorists the ideal solution although I guess this again presupposes the archaeologists know where to dig in the first place and can get permission. I appreciate these are not new questions but they are new to me as well I'm newish to detecting. 18 March 2014 at 22:31. 20 March 2014 at 04:...

Sir Thomas Bingham M.R., Auld and Ward L.JJ. This appeal concerns the collision of two familiar notions of English law: "finders keepers" and that an owner or lawful possessor of land owns all that. 2) How is the answer to (1) affected by, or applied, when the land is public open space?
