JANNER53's METAL DETECTING BLOG: Very quiet day.
http://janner53.blogspot.com/2015/07/front-after-nearly-six-hours-of-metal.html
Detecting Code of Conduct and The Law. After nearly six hours of metal detecting a farm today on a club dig, the above object is all I had to show for it. Not even sure of what it is. At first I thought it was a large button but after cleaning I think it maybe a furniture fitment of some kind. If anyone has any ideas I'll be happy to hear them. Size of it is 2.5 CM. As the saying goes it has to be there to find it. Sunday 12 July 2015. Labels: Metal Detecting Finds. 13 July 2015 at 08:38. Hi I just start...

Found out that stands for HENRY GRIFFITH and SONS. On another side i...

Most of the finds above came out of the top dry shingle where people sunbathed. The coins are all modern decimal apart from a ship halfpenny. I did find a very tiny coin that stumped me until I returned home, where I discovered it was a Polish 1 Grosz, dated 2006. Thursday 21 May 2015. Labels: Metal Detecting Beach Finds. Past T...
