It is located on a “red light street” where the shophouses are all lit up with red lanterns, but it is not a sleezy place. Location: Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, 75200, Melaka, Malaysia (Next To Jonker Walk). The asam fish was the best way to end our night in the heart of Melaka.

We wanted to try Chung Wah 100 metres away but the queue was too long, the sun was scorching hot and it was too small a place to accommodate 11 of us. Nonetheless, Hoe Kee was not bad.
