My travels and other tid-bits. July 27, 2005. Germany in a nutshell. Germany is mad, mainly on beer halls, pretzels, and Wurst (saussies), none of which I have growen particularly fond of. However, Daniel (aussie friend) and I after spending 4 nights in Munchen and another 2 in Hamburg are now in Berlin. I have been pleasantly surprised at what Germany has to offer. Thursday, March 31, 2005. Today it doesn't feel like I've just had a 5 day holiday! As soon as you get back to class it seems you've been back forever! Some days I feel braver than others - my first main interaction with the world out side our little flat was with a scene I wasn't able to acknowledge: ambulance staff were attending an elderly (homeless? Wednesday, May 19, 2010. Back in January, we decided to hike Cerro Alto, a mountain halfway between Morro Bay and Atascadero. We had no idea what we were in for. The trail is very beautiful with wildflowers, green foliage, and waterfalls. Luckily a good portion of the trail was shaded.
